Women's Asia Cup 2026: Full schedule, dates squads, & live streaming details
India will kickstart their Women’s Asia Cup campaign on August 30 against Thailand.
The 10th edition of the Women’s Asia Cup is all set to bring together eight of the region’s leading women’s cricket teams. The tournament will be held in Dubai and is scheduled to start on August 28.
This tournament will be played in the T20I format, giving the Asian teams a chance to bounce back ahead of the upcoming international assignments.
Indian women will enter the tournament as the most successful side in the history of the Women’s Asia Cup, having won seven titles since its inauguration in 2004. However, Sri Lanka are the defending champions after defeating India in the 2024 final to claim their maiden Asia Cup crown.
The tournament will feature 15 matches, with all games scheduled to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. After the group stage, there will be two semi-finals followed by the final, which is scheduled for September 13.

Eight teams have been divided into two groups. Group A contains India, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Thailand, while the Group B, comprises defending champions Sri Lanka, alongside Bangladesh, UAE and Indonesia.
As per the Asia Cup format, each team will face the other three sides in their group, and then, the top two teams from each group will face each other in the semi-finals.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will aim to reclaim the continental crown in Dubai after having faced a humiliating exit from the group stages of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Their group-stage fixture against Pakistan Women on September 5th is anticipated to be one of the biggest attractions of the tournament.
