WPL 2025 auction is scheduled to take place on December 15.

The highly anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 auction is set to take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024 in Bengaluru. The event will feature a total of 120 players, 91 Indians and 29 overseas cricketers.

The franchises will look to strengthen their existing squads. Several franchises have retained their cores while a few others have made some bold moves by releasing big names before the auction.

A total of 120 players, comprising 91 Indians and 29 overseas players, have been shortlisted for the WPL auction. The five franchises have a combined 19 slots available to fill, with a maximum of five slots reserved for overseas players.

Gujarat Giants (GG) will enter the WPL auction with the biggest purse of INR 4.4 crores, while Delhi Capitals have the least with INR 2.5 crores. The purse for all the franchises is listed below:

Mumbai Indians: ₹2.65 crores
