The auction for the WPL 2025 season is expected to take place in early December.
All five franchises of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) announced their lists of retained and released players on November 7, Thursday, ahead of the WPL 2025 auction, which is likely to be held in early December.
The WPL 2025 season will be the third edition of the WPL. Smriti Mandhana-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the WPL 2024, while Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians had clinched the inaugural title. In both finals, Meg Lanning-led Delhi Capitals suffered defeats.

Delhi have also let go of Australian power-hitter Laura Harris, and uncapped Indian players Aparna Mondal and Ashwani Kumari.
Mumbai have have retained the majority of their squad and have released Fatima Jaffer, Humaira Kazi, Priyanka Bala and England seamer Issy Wong. UP Warriorz have parted ways with bowling allrounder Parshavi Chopra, who impressed everyone last season.
