WPL 2026 mega auction: List of all players bought by Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians bought 11 players at WPL 2026 mega auction.
The Women’s Premier League (WPL) mega auction 2026 took place in Delhi on Thursday, November 27, where a total of 277 players went under the hammer for 73 available slots. Mumbai Indians (MI) Women bought 11 out of the 67 players, who were sold in the auction.
Amelia Kerr was their costliest player, valued at INR 3 crores, followed by Sajeevan Sajana for INR 75 lakhs. Shabnim Ismail, Nicola Carey, and Saika Ishaque were a few other players bought by them.
Out of their total salary cap of INR 15 crores, MI spent INR 9.25 crores for retentions ahead of the auction. They had INR 5.75 crores left in their purse, with 13 available slots. Out of these, there were four slots for overseas players.
Mumbai Indians retained five players ahead of WPL 2026 mega auction

MI retained five players in their squad ahead of WPL 2026 mega auction. The defending champions retained captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who led the team to the two titles. Amanjot Kaur and G Kamalini were the other two Indian players retained by the side. Nat-Sciver Brunt and Hayley Matthews were two overseas members backed by the side.
Since MI retained five players in their squad, they didn’t have any Right to Match Card available for WPL 2026 mega auction. Spending INR 9.25 crores, they were the second team to spend the most amount in retentions after Delhi Capitals (9.30 crores).
