The four-time finalists, Delhi Capitals Women, went into the auction with the second-lowest purse value of INR 1.10 crore. They had five slots available to complete their full quota of 18 players.
The franchise retained 13 players ahead of the auction and released six players, including Lizelle Lee, Alana King, Taniyaa Bhatia, and Sneh Rana. DC-W made four signings at the mini auction along with Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women (RCB); they were the only second team that ended with 17 players.
DC-W are in search of their maiden WPL title. They have made it to the finals in all four seasons but have lost every time. Under the captaincy of Jemimah Rodrigues, they lost the final of the last season to RCB-W.
