Wriddhiman Saha reveals the reason behind wearing trousers the other way during the game Vs LSG During the recent match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2023, Wriddhiman Saha was a part of one of the league's funniest occurrences.

The seasoned wicketkeeper hurried out to keep wickets when GT came out to the field in the second innings of the game and, in a panic, had his trousers on backward. Hardik Pandya and Mohammad Shami laughed at this absurd sequence of events, and the on-air pundits were also quick to point out the comical mistake.

The reason was that Saha was seemingly injured and GT wanted to substitute him with KS Bharat. This was in addition to using Alzarri Joseph as the impact player instead of Shubman Gill. However, the umpires did not allow it, and Saha, in a rush wore his trousers in reverse.

After the game, Bharat and Saha were chatting in a video that was shared on IPL Twitter and the veteran wicketkeeper-batsman has now finally revealed why he had to wear his trousers in such a way.

"I told the umpires that you are having the needling session, but they didn't allow me to keep", KS Bharat said at first.

Replying to this Wriddhiman Saha claimed that he had just finished eating and was getting about to take his medication when all of a sudden he received a call telling him that he needed to go to the field. He had his trousers on backwards since he was rushing.

He said: "I was eating my food and the physio said I need to take my medicine too. So I had to wear my pants in a hurry and it was worn the other way around. After two overs I returned and you did a wonderful job.”

Wriddhiman Saha kept for two overs, after which KS Bharat replaced him, Saha looked in visible discomfort.
