The 40-year-old had announced his retirement decision during the ongoing Ranji Trophy season. His last game was against Punjab, where he scored a duck but Bengal won by an innings and 13 runs.

Saha played for several IPL franchises, including Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Gujarat Titans. His most memorable IPL knock came in the 2014 final, where he top-scored with 115 runs off 55 balls but Punjab lost the final to KKR.
