Yashasvi Jaiswal List A cricket (Domestic 50-over cricket) stats before his ODI debut

Yashasvi Jaiswal made his ODI debut on February 6, 2025, against England in Nagpur.

After having left a huge impression in test and T20I cricket, Yashasvi Jaiswal received his much-awaited ODI cap on February 6, 2025, ahead of the first IND vs ENG ODI match in Nagpur.

Jaiswal received India ODI cap No. 257 from captain Rohit Sharma at the VCA Stadium.

The young left-hander was destined to play and dominate all three formats for India. He made his test and T20I debuts in 2023. The 23-year-old has cemented his place in the test side, and looks set to do the same in both white-ball formats as well.

Let us see Jaiswal’s stats in List A cricket ahead of his maiden ODI outing. The left-hander made his List A debut in 2019 and his last 50-over fixture was in 2022. He missed the last two seasons of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, which is India’s premier 50-over domestic competition, due to being part of the test team.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has an outstanding record in List A cricket. In 32 matches, he has scored 1511 runs at an average of 53 and has maintained a strike rate of 86. The opener has struck five centuries and seven fifties in List A cricket so far. He’s also slammed 36 sixes.

Jaiswal’s highest score in List A cricket is 203, which he smashed against Jharkhand during the 2019 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Then, at the age of 17, Jaiswal become the youngest player to record a double-century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

After his double-century, Jaiswal had said, “I hope I can keep doing well. This is only the start, I need to work more and go further.”

He looks on the course to pile up loads of runs in ODI cricket.
