Yuvraj Singh hit his maiden half century in international cricket while playing the ICC Knockout Trophy Quarter-final. In the match against Australia on October 7, 2000, Singh hit a brilliant 84 (80), being the only Indian to cross 40 runs. He was also the Player of the Match.

Sachin Tendulkar debuted for India when he was merely 16 years 205 days old. Shortly after, he hit his maiden half century on the tour of Pakistan. In the 2nd Test at Faisalabad in November 1989, Sachin scored 59 runs in the 1st innings. He is the youngest half-centurion in Test cricket.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi debuted for India in July 2026 against England in the 2nd T20I. He hit his maiden international half century on July 23 in the 1st T20I against Zimbabwe. He reached this milestone in merely 18 balls. Sooryavanshi is the youngest half-centurion in international cricket.
