"Happy birthday sir" Yuvraj Singh wishes Abhishek Sharma with an epic tweet

Yuvraj Singh has been a mentor to Abhishek Sharma in recent years.
Legendary Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh shared an amazing video to wish young all-rounder Abhishek Sharma on his 24th birthday on September 4, 2024.
Yuvraj has been mentoring Abhishek and a few other Punjab team players in recent years. His mentorship has been critical to the growth of Punjab’s players. Abhishek, in particular, has appreciated Yuvraj for his development, especially his rise over the past couple of years.
Yuvraj’s emphasis on fitness, strength and specific match scenarios enabled Abhishek and the other players to adapt and develop their game strategies.
It has been an amazing year for Abhishek Sharma. He broke multiple records in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 when he opened the innings for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Forming a dangerous opening partnership with Australia’s Travis Head, Abhishek’s no-holds-barred approach at the top helped SRH reach the final.
Abhishek shined with 484 runs in 16 matches, scoring at a strike rate of more than 200. He led the six-hitting chart with 42 maximums.
This led to Abhishek making his India T20I debut in Zimbabwe. Though he got out for a duck in his first outing in Harare, Abhishek hammered his maiden T20I century in the next game. His innings included eight sixes and seven boundaries.
“Keep putting in the hard work!”- Yuvraj wishes Abhishek Sharma on his birthday
Meanwhile, to wish Abhishek on his 24th birthday, his mentor Yuvraj posted a training video with the opener on his social media.
The video shows Abhishek taking tips from Yuvraj. Yuvraj wishes for the young southpaw to blast as many sixes as he takes singles.
“Happy birthday sir Abhishek. Hope you take as many singles this year as many as you knock out of the park. Keep putting in the hard work! loads of love and wishes for a great year ahead!” Yuvraj wrote.
