IPL 2024: Yuzvendra Chahal becomes first ever Indian bowler to take 350 wickets in T20 cricket
Playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR), Yuzvendra Chahal made history in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match against the Delhi Capitals (DC) by taking a vital wicket and removing DC captain Rishabh Pant. With this breakthrough, he reached this incredible milestone and became the first Indian bowler to record 350 wickets in T20 cricket.
Chahal pressured Rishabh Pant with a ball in the middle and leg. Pant was trying to swing over but was unbalanced. He looked very awkward while playing the shot. Pant missed a simple slog-sweep because of his awkwardness, which sent the ball into deep backward square leg. Perfectly placed, Trent Boult calmly took the catch to complete Chahal’s historic T20 cricket feat.
