ZIM vs IND 2024: Most runs, most wickets after 2nd T20I, Harare

India defeated Zimbabwe by 100 runs in the 2nd match and leveled the five-match ZIM vs IND T20I series 1-1.
Youngster Abhishek Sharma showcased his skills as he smashed his maiden T20I century, which helped the visitors India post a massive total of 234/2 against Zimbabwe in the second match of the ongoing five-match T20I series in Harare on July 7.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Indian skipper Shubman Gill departed cheaply, but Abhishek Sharma (100 runs off 47 balls) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (77 runs off 47 balls) stitched a 137-run stand for the second wicket, which helped visitors register their highest total against Zimbabwe in T20Is.
For Zimbabwe, Wellington Masakadza and Blessing Muzarabani took one wicket each, whereas the rest of the bowlers had a poor outing.
While chasing 235 runs, Zimbabwe opener Wessly Madhevere played a fighting knock of 43 runs off 39 deliveries. Brian Bennett played a blistering 26-run knock off nine balls, whereas the rest of the batters surrendered against a tough Indian bowling attack.
Zimbabwe were bundled out for 134 runs in 18.4 overs as India won the match by 100 runs and leveled the five-match T20I series 1-1. For India, pacers Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar bagged three wickets each, whereas leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi took two scalps.
ZIM vs IND 2024: Most Runs
After the end of the first two games of the ongoing five-match T20I series, Indian all-rounder Abhishek Sharma leads the list of leading run-scorers with 100 runs to his name. His teammate Ruturaj Gaikwad follows him next with 84 runs.
Zimbabwe’s W. Madhevere is slotted third with 64 runs. With 48 runs, India’s left-handed batter Rinku Singh is at the fourth position. BJ Bennett is placed fifth with 48 runs.
