Top 12 players with the most goals in Bundesliga 2022-23
Who will win this season's "Torjägerkanone"?
The Bundesliga is one of the top leagues in Europe, and it has produced a number of top-tier strikers with exceptional goal-scoring skills. Lewandowski, Aubameyang, and Erling Haaland are recent examples. However, since the Polish striker dominated the competition, we will know who will win this time.Niclas Fulkrug has been at the top of the list of top scorers. Since he assisted Werder Bremen in getting promoted to the top division this season, he appears determined to take home the Bundesliga golden boot award. Let's take a look at the other participants in the competition.
10. Karim Onisiwo - 9 goals
7. Serge Gnabry - 9 goals
9. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting - 10 goals
8. Dodi Lukebakio - 10 goals
6. Randal Kolo Muani - 11 goals
5. Jamal Musiala - 11 goals
Musiala, a promising young player in football, has already established himself in league with six goals at the age of 19. Musiala is the most crucial player for Bayern and has an impressive work rate. He has excelled this year, though, and if he continues his exceptional goal-scoring form, he could win the golden boot.
4. Marcus Thuram - 12 goals
Thuram has gotten off to a good start this season after a disastrous last one that saw him get a six-game suspension for spitting on an opponent. The player is upbeat and poses a significant threat in front of the goal. Also, he has scored eight goals for the team and has developed into an important striker for Borussia Mönchengladbach. He will also be vying for the golden boot alongside other strikers.
3. Vincenzo Griffo - 12 goals
The Italian winger is enjoying yet another good season with SC Freiburg. He has recorded 6 goals in the 2022-23 season so far alongside 2 assists. 2 of the goals have come from the penalty spot.
2. Christopher Nkunku - 12 goals
Nkunku, one of the top strikers in the Bundesliga, finished third in goals scored last season behind Lewandowski and Haaland. He is also sought after by numerous European clubs due to his improvement into one of the top strikers in the continent. But for the time being, the French international is still a significant factor of RB Leipzig.
Nkunku sustained where he left off as usual. Also the player has eight goals and is driven to bring home the first golden boot of the Bundesliga.
1. Niclas Fulkrug - 15 goals
Fulkrug finished the previous campaign with 19 goals, but if he can maintain his consistency this time around, he will probably surpass that total. Fulkrug is only one goal ahead of Thuram in the Bundesliga scoring race with eight goals, but we still have a long season ahead of us, and Fulkrug has already made his presence felt.
The 29-year-old striker, who was named the Bundesliga's player of the month for September, plans to keep up his propensity for scoring goals.
