ATK Mohun Bagan reignited their dreams of winning the Indian Super League (ISL) league championship by defeating leaders Hyderabad FC 1-0 at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata on Saturday. ATK Mohun Bagan (By Uttiyo Sarkar)

Asish Rai – 7.0
Rai didn’t really do much in the attacking front, but was quite solid defensively. He kept the visitors’ left-wing threat at bay by marking their wingers impressively. Rai made 4 clearances, 2 tackles and 2 interceptions to frustrate his former teammates.
Pritam Kotal – 7.5
Pritam held his nerve against Bart Ogbeche and co, putting in a commendable performance at the back. He helped maintain a solid backline and not give the visitors too much space to operate in, making 6 clearances and an interception.
Brendan Hamill – 7.5
The Australian centre-back was not unnerved by the prospect of facing Ogbeche and held a strong defensive line. His smart positioning, movement and marking helped Hamill come out on top, as he also made 8 clearances and 2 blocks in a sturdy defensive effort.
Subhasish Bose – 8.0
Bose was a real workhorse for his side on the left and had to put in extra work to keep the dangerous Mohamed Yasir quiet. He made 4 tackles, 7 clearances and 4 blocks in an admirable defensive showing – but missed a few scoring chances from corners too.
Carl McHugh – 7.0
Coming in for the injured Kauko, McHugh gave his backline an extra layer of protection. He hassled the Hyderabad players with his pressing and aggressive challenges, making 2 clearances and 2 interceptions and ensuring they never got total control over the game.
Deepak Tangri – 7.5
Tangri was a positive burst of energy in the ATK Mohun Bagan midfield against Hyderabad and worked hard to cover for his defenders as well. He was often in the thick of things in his half, making key challenges to avert danger. He made 3 interceptions and 6 blocks to frustrate the visitors.
Manvir Singh – 6.0
Manvir was a hard-working figure for ATK Mohun Bagan against Hyderabad in the first half, getting into some promising areas in the right-wing and contributing defensively. However, he picked up an injury due to a horrible tackle and was taken off before half-time.
Hugo Boumous – 8.0
With no Petratos, Boumous was tasked to play as the most advanced player for the Mariners. He seemed to revel in his free role, getting more involved in key attacking areas. He started and finished off the move for his goal, showcasing smart movement before the tap-in. The ATKMB forward was dangerous with his delivery, creating four chances and urged his side to keep pressing the visitors. Wins another game for ATKMB.
Liston Colaco – 6.5
The ATK Mohun Bagan attacker was the focal point of their attacks, playing in a central role. He often went in behind the backline and burst past players in counter-attacks. Liston played a clever pass to Boumous leading up to his goal, but fluffed a huge chance in the second half by hitting a shot at the keeper from a 1v1 situation.
Ashique Kuruniyan – 7.5
Ashique was a breath of fresh air for the Mariners in the left-wing role. He made life a living hell for Hyderabad FC’s defenders and tormented Reagan Sing with his amazing forward runs in the first half. Smartly found Bouous for his strike and was a constant thorn with his blistering pace and aggression on the left-wing. His final product, although, was still a bit wary at times.
