Ratings: Diamantakos helps Kerala Blasters end Hyderabad FC's unbeaten run

The victory over the table toppers takes the Blasters to third place.
Hyderabad FC Succumbed to their first-ever defeat of this season’s Indian Super League, losing to Kerala Blasters. The Nizams were left to rue late chances as they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat. It was an evenly fought game and Kerala Blasters managed to scrape through thanks to an early goal from Dimitrios Diamantakos. The win takes Kerala Blasters to third on the points table, within just three points of Hyderabad FC, who still are on top of the table.

Anuj Kumar - 7.0
He had a nervy start to the game and should have caught the ball of Adrien Luna, but instead, he pushed it straight to Dimitros which resulted in Blasters taking the lead. Anuj got better as the game progressed and made a total of three saves for the home team.
Nikhil Poojary - 6.5
The right-back had a decent game by making sure he kept the attack of Kerala blasters quiet. But was not his best in the attack. With 70 touches and 70% pass accuracy he was not at his influential best. Nikhil was substituted in the latter stages of the game.
Odei Onaindia - 7.5
The centre-back was pick of the defenders for Hyderabad FC and with 104 touches and a total of 90 passes he controlled the game and made sure Kerala dint create a lot of chances.
Chinglasena Singh - 7.0
He complimented his center-back partner well and with 108 touches and 83% pass accuracy he kept the away team's chances to a limit.
Akash Mishra - 6.5
Akash Mishra like all the other Hyderabad FC defenders was solid defensively. But on a day, where they needed to score, he could not create a lot of chances from the left. He put in six tackles and six crosses but failed to create a proper chance.
Joao Victor - 7.0
The captain although did his defensive duties well, he had the golden chance to equalize late in the second half but blazed his chance over the goalpost which could have given his team a crucial point.
He was otherwise lively on the ball and sprayed some good passes across the field. He put in three successful tackles, but will rue missing the chance.
Sahil Tavora - 6.5
Sahil had his first start of the season and it did not go according to plan for him. He could not get much into the game and had two shots which were both off-target. He also had 58 touches and a 71% pass rate, but he could not contribute to the team especially going forward.
Mohammad Yasir - 6.5
Yasir was not as ever-present on the right but made sure he ran his heart out for the team. He created one chance and also had 54 touches of the game. Although, unlike previous games, he had a disappointing outing today.
Joel Chianese - 7.5
The Australian was back in the starting 11 and looked sharp on set-pieces. He created the best chance for the home team in the first half but Ogbeche put the header wide. He missed a crucial chance when he was through on goal in the second half.
Halicharan Narzary - 6.0
Halicharan Narzary although was solid defensively, could not create much on the attack and failed to get into the game. With 63% pass accuracy and one chance created, he would have wished for a better game. Taken off in the 65th minute.
Bartholomew Ogbeche - 6.5
Ogbeche was busy after returning to the starting XI. He was more on the ball in the beginning and created a couple of chances for the home team. Unfortunately, Ogbeche was not his clinical best in front of the goal and missed chances to score for the home team.
Substitutes:
Borja Herrera - 7.0
He came on in the 60th minute and tried his best to create chances for the home team, He also put in crosses but unfortunately the home team were unable to score.
Reagen Singh - 7.0
Having come on for Narzary, Reagan did what was asked of him by the coach.
Javier Siverio - 7.0
He had come on for Ogbeche, in the 75th minute, and created a chance but it was too late as Hyderabad FC could not score.
Aaren D’Silva - 7.0
Aaren D’Silva missed a golden chance late in the game to equalise and could have snatched a point for the home team.

Prabhsukhan Gill - 8
The custodian was in top form today. His brilliant performance under the bars earned him a clean-sheet as well as three points for his team. He was fundamental in blocking several dangerously looking counter attacks from the opposition.
Sandeep Singh - 7.5
Sandeep cemented the trust of Ivan Vukamanovic. He performed very well in the wing-back role. Maintained a good balance between attack and defence throughout the game.
Marko Lesković - 7.5
A class display by Marko in the defensive third. Co-ordinated the backline well enough to earn a clean-sheet for his team. Made seven clearances tonight.
Hormipam Ruivah - 7.5
The young defender had a good performance today. Defended well and partnered well with Leskovic throughout the match. Made two blocks and four recoveries for the team.
Nishu Kumar - 6.5
Nishu did a good job defensively but was not so impactful offensively. His crosses got blocked most of the time. He made eight recoveries for the team.
Rahul KP - 8
Rahul dribbling past the defenders is always a joy to watch for the Yellow army. The heat map indicates the freedom Vukamanovic granted him to roam freely on the pitch. His defensive output is much more appreciable today. Had 43 touches in the game.
Ivan Kalyuzhnyi - 8.5
The Ukrainian midfield general steered the center of the pitch well for Blasters. Ivan had 63 touches in the game which included seven dangerously looking passes into the final third. His heroics in the midfield earned him the "Hero of the Match" award.
Jeakson Singh - 6.5
Jeakson displayed a satisfactory performance in the midfield today. He made seven recoveries and a clearance throughout the match. Committed three fouls and got booked once.
Sahal Abdul Samad - 6.5
Sahal had many chances but luck wasn't at his side tonight. He fired two shots to the post but couldn't convert them. Got substituted in the 73rd minute.
Adrian Luna - 7.5
The Kerala captain displayed a calm and cool performance throughout the match. Featured in the role of a striker along with Dimitrios in the starting XI. Created three chances for his team. Got substituted in the 89th minute.
Dimitrios Diamantakos - 8
A spectacular night for the Greek forward. His positioning sense and compact finish broke Nizam's unbeaten streak in the league. Was forced to leave the pitch early in the 34th minute owing to a hamstring injury.
Substitutes
Apostolos Giannou - 6
Made an average performance as a substitute for Dimitrios tonight. Had two very good chances but couldn't make anything out of them. Played a total of 52 minutes as a substitute.
Saurav Mandal - 6
Came in as a substitute for Sahal in the second half of the game. Couldn't create anything eye worthy in the match with just 11 touches in the ball.

Came on in the extra minute of the game and had little impact.
