France announces 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup

The defending champions will be looking to have another strong campaign this time around
France will attempt to reclaim their World Cup title, aiming to become the third nation to win two World Cups in a row, following Italy (1934, 1938) and Brazil (1958, 1962).
The 2022 World Cup will be France's 16th appearance, having won two World Cups. And Didier Deschamps will be hoping that his 25-man squad can take the most prestigious stage in sport by force once more.
This season, there have been many emerging youngsters who have wowed at club level, from William Saliba to Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Deschamps has made the right decision by including them in the squad. There will also be many old faces at the World Cup. Benzema, who was not called up for the 2018 World Cup but will undoubtedly make an impact in Qatar.
To do so, they must first qualify out of Group D, which includes Australia, Denmark, and Tunisia.
Having excellent players at their disposal, manager Deschamps is unconcerned about his players, who holds enough experience to navigate the nation through the groups before facing a challenging nation in knockout round.
France will begin their World Cup campaign against Australia on November 23rd, and here are the 25-man squad that have been called up ahead of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
