Qatar announces 26-man squad for 2022 FIFA World Cup

The host nation are the latest nation to announce their team
This will be Qatar's first showing after securing the hosting rights to the World Cup 2022 in a vote in 2010. The repercussions have been serious since the country has been widely condemned, and protests to boycott the tournament have taken place.
Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have both slammed the crimes against human rights in Qatar.
Qatar, which has enacted stringent laws against same-sex marriage, and the deaths of many migrant workers have gone unreported. However, Qatar are hosting its first World Cup and therefore overlooked all the controversy.
This is the first-ever opportunity for the player to put effort on the field and demonstrate their character wholeheartedly.
Head coach Felix Sanchez named his 26-man squad, and the host nation are seeded in group A alongside Netherlands, Senegal, and Ecuador. They will embark on their first World Cup match against Ecuador on 20 November.

Midfielders: Ali Asad, Assim Modibo, Mohammed Waad, Salem Al-Hajri, Moustafa Tarek, Karim Boudiaf, Abdelaziz Hatim, Ismail Mohamad.
Forwards: Naif Alhadhrami, Ahmed Alaaeldin, Hassan Al-Haydos, Khalid Muneer, Akram Afif, Almoez Ali, Mohamed Muntari.
