Enzo Fernandez has been linked with multiple big clubs across Europe ahead of the upcoming January transfer window. The 21-year-old has been impressive ever since his move from River Plate to Benfica. He has been in red-hot form in recent months. The big sharks across the top five leagues have an eye on the young Argentina talent.
Fernandez emerged as a huge prospect for the future while playing for River Plate back in Argentina. He joined Benfica for a fee of €12 million in the summer transfer window of 2022. The young central midfielder has proved his mettle in Liga Portugal while playing for Benfica. His performances have resulted in a call-up to the national team for the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
He has been sensational in the ongoing World Cup and might have already scored one of the most important goals in Argentina's campaign. A goal that might have saved Lionel Messi's World Cup dreams. Enzo was the star for Argentina alongside Messi last night as they defeated Mexico 2-0.
