Youssoufa Moukoko becomes youngest player to score 10 goals in Bundesliga history
The teenager netted a brace to secure the feat.
Youssoufa Moukoko made the news on Saturday as he became the youngest player in Bundesliga history to record 10 goals, with a brace in the match against VFL Bochum where he steered the German giants to a 3-0 victory.
A promising possibility, the youngster has made history by joining Borussia Dortmund as a teenager. Another breakout star in Europe, Moukoko, was the highlight of the game against VFL Bochum. Before turning 16, he made his Dortmund debut. Yesterday, the 17-year-old surpassed Florian Wirtz to become the player with the youngest double-digit goal total.
The brilliant teenager with the potential to grow into one of the top players, Moukoko has once again demonstrated outstanding quality, and Dortmund, the home of many young stars, has placed it's trust in him. However, his contract is coming to an end this summer and Liverpool have already shown interest in the 17-year-old.
In contrast, Dortmund have comfortably won thanks to a brace from Youssoufa Moukoko and a solitary goal from Giovanni Reyna. Dortmund are third in the standings and have fared decently in the league. Following the side's unimpressive showing in Denmark on Wednesday, Edin Terzic will be pleased with the team's performance against VFL Bochum. Marco Reus's triumphant return from injury is the icing on the cake and will increase the team's morale and the players' performance in upcoming games.
