This is the latest talking point in an already controversial FIFA World Cup 2022

FIFA has requested that the Belgium national team remove one love from their shirt collar after the governing body instructed players not to wear the one love armband during matches. Because of Qatar's strong anti-homosexuality legislation, the choice is made when Martinez men play their opening game versus Canada.

According to sources, FIFA is not willing to debate with any nation and has instructed all nations to respect Qatari legislation carefully. However, the Belgian federation has not yet considered the rule.

Many nations were willing to take a step have scrapped their plans to wear the one love anti-discrimination armband in the tournament's opening games.

Even though every country's football federation was willing to pay a fine. When FIFA overturned the decision and ordered referees to sanction players who wore the one love armband. The federation was forced to follow the guidelines.

Belgium were ready to demonstrate its support for the LGBT community by writing "love" on the collar of their away shirt. And the jersey has profited greatly from its selling. Although it was tied to a single love armband worn by numerous nations.

Belgium's national team will now require new shirts, and Adidas will be obliged to send them to Qatar.

Players must have a right to express their support for human rights on and off the field of play and we will support any of them who will use their own platforms to do so," the union commented on FIFA's ban.

"We maintain that a rainbow flag is not a political statement. But an endorsement of equality and thus a universal human right."
