The Salernitana centre-forward is making a name for himself in both the Serie A and the World Cup as well. Dia has managed to score six goals and has 2 assists in 14 Serie A appearances. Boulaye Dia is playing at his first World Cup ever. The centre-forward also scored his first World Cup goal against Qatar. In the absence of Sadio Mane, Senegal's attack can certainly thrive in a much-needed win against Ecuador.

Ecuador's star player and top scorer Enner Valencia picked up an injury in the first match against Qatar. The injury took a rough turn in the match against Netherlands as he left the match on a stretcher. However, it is sure that Valencia will face Senegal especially when his nation needs him the most.
