FIFA World Cup, the most prestigious tournament for national teams in association football. The competition which takes place in every four years. The inaugural campaign of this World Championship took place in Uruguay with 13 teams from 3 confederations. In total, more than 350 managers managed or co-managed a team at least one match in the quadrennial international tournament.

Twenty different managers have won the World Cup. Vittorio Pozzo, the head coach of World Cup winning head Coach of Italy holds the record of winning the title twice 1934 & 1938. Carlos Albreto Parriera has the most appearances in FIFA World Cup coached Kuwait (1982), United Arab Emirates (1990), Brazil (1994 & 2006), Saudi Arabia (1998) and South Africa.

Les Bleus manager Didier Deschamps has to defend the trophy. If Didier Deschamps & Co. successfully defended the championship this time, it will be his third WC triumph in total. Didier won one World Cup as a player (1998) and one as a coach (2018). On the other hand, England manager Gareth Southgate will be keen to bring back the World Cup after 56 years after finishing in fourth place in the previous World Cup campaign. Meanwhile, Brazil's coach Tite is confident about his 26 men star-studded squad after magnificent performances and earned the tag of favourites as South America seeks to lift the World Cup trophy for the sixth time.
