How to watch the 2022 FIFA World Cup in India for free?

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is about to start in a few days and the excitement is through the roof. It is one of the most popular sports tournaments in the world, one that attracts massive viewership across the globe. While not all football fans have the means to travel to Qatar and witness the tournament in person, many will still watch the games through television and live streaming on the internet.
Football fans in India can watch all of the action unfold in Qatar starting from 20 November 2022 free of cost. Apparently, the live streaming of the tournament will be available on the JioCinema app. It is worth noting that the broadcasting and streaming rights in India belong to the Reliance-backed Viacom18 Media.

As it stands, one can watch the live streams of the matches from the 2022 FIFA World Cup without a subscription on the JioCinema app which is available on the respective app stores for Android and iOS mobile devices.
