The World Cup squad of France shared a photo of their private flight to Qatar while their route to the quadrennial mega event as the defending champions. 'The national coach has decided to call on Randal Kolo Muani. The Eintracht Frankfurt striker, currently in Japan with his club, will join the French team in Doha on Thursday morning.'

Injury concerns for France

Nkunku's injury was the most recent setback for the defending World Cup champions, who are already without defender Presnel Kimpembe, midfielders N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba, and forward Presnel Kimpembe.

Nkunku was hurt on Tuesday at the French national football centre after colliding with Real Madrid player Eduardo Camavinga.
