Randal Kolo Muani replaces Christopher Nkunku in France's squad

The RB Leipzig forward is ruled out of the tournament after a bad tackle from Camavinga injured him.
The World Cup squad of France shared a photo of their private flight to Qatar while their route to the quadrennial mega event as the defending champions. Stars like Raphael Varane, Karim Benzema, and Kylian Mbappe are among those travelling to the gulf nation for the competition, where France will try to defend their title. However, Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt is up by Deschamps to replace the injured Christopher Nkunku.
Nkunku withdrew from the competition after hurting his leg during training on Tuesday, the day before Les Bleus' departure for Qatar.
Kolo Muani, who has eight goals in 23 games for Frankfurt since the start of this season, had his first two appearances for France in the Nations League in September as a substitute against Austria and Denmark.
The French national team confirmed in a statement: 'Didier Deschamps has decided to summon the Eintracht Frankfurt striker to replace that of RB Leipzig.
'The FIFA Medical Committee has endorsed the withdrawal of Christopher Nkunku due to injury, Didier Deschamps had the possibility of calling a player to replace him.
'The national coach has decided to call on Randal Kolo Muani. The Eintracht Frankfurt striker, currently in Japan with his club, will join the French team in Doha on Thursday morning.'
Injury concerns for France
Nkunku's injury was the most recent setback for the defending World Cup champions, who are already without defender Presnel Kimpembe, midfielders N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba, and forward Presnel Kimpembe.
Nkunku was hurt on Tuesday at the French national football centre after colliding with Real Madrid player Eduardo Camavinga. At Clairefontaine, However, Nkunku was clutching his leg in anguish and being held off the practice field. After limping out of training on Tuesday, the forward underwent medical examinations. Those in attendance's early reactions to the incident indicated that they were concerned about how the knock may affect his ability to compete in Qatar.
For the World Cup in Qatar, the talented squad of France is in Group D with Australia, Denmark, and Tunisia. On Tuesday, they face Australia in their first game.
