Vincenzo Alberto Annese: We can very dangerous for Hyderabad FC

The stakes will get bigger from here on for NorthEast United as they make a trip to Hyderabad to face the defending champions. The Nizams are on the top of their game and come into the fixture on the back of three back to back wins. The Highlanders on the other hand will be keen to build on their newly found confidence under their new head coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese.
Ahead of their next game, the head coach and left back Tondonba Singh addressed the media. Here's what they said.
Mood in the camp
NorthEast United clinched their first win of the season in their previous game. The head coach was asked about the mood in the camp following their win. He said that the team is motivated to work harder and improve.
“We are motivated because this win creates a positive mind for the guys and gives us hope for the future. We need to continue to work harder and try to reach that level to compete not just at home, but also away from home,” he asserted.
Thoughts on Hyderabad FC
Vincenzo Alberto Annese then shared his thoughts on Hyderabad FC. He said that they are one of the best teams in the league and have everything that it takes to win the title.
“They have a very good coach and are one of the best teams in the league. They have very good players and have everything to win the title. We need to focus on ourselves and we can be very dangerous for Hyderabad FC.
He further went on to share a few words on his side’s preparation going into the next game. He said, “We had two days to prepare for this game and I can say that we need to be organised and ready for any situation during the game. We are in a good spirit and can improve in each detail that can make the difference.”
Progress so far
It hasn’t been long since the Italian head coach has come into the scene at NorthEast United. He shared his views on the progress of the team under him so far and said, “I’m never happy with myself. I need to be better and improve at a better level and I love difficult challenges. And I’m here to improve myself and the team. I believe in these guys so much and step by step we can do a lot.”

Before signing off, Vincenzo Alberto Annese shared an update about his team. He said that everyone is ready and fit to compete against Hyderabad FC.
“We are all fit and ready for the game,” he said.
Tondonba Singh’s comments
The left-back shared an update regarding the mood in the camp and thanked his coach for helping him and his teammates improve in all aspects.
“I’m very happy because we won a game after losing 10. I want to thank our coach for helping us for improving our performance both physically and mentally. So, we are happy,” he quipped.
