EFL Cup 2022-23: Round of 16 updated schedule, fixtures

Club football is finally back after the end to the FIFA World Cup 2022

After an exciting end to the World Cup, Club football is back again and fans will again get the opportunity to see their favourite clubs play again. The EFL Cup referred to historically, and colloquially, as the League Cup, currently known as the Carabao Cup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual knockout football competition and major trophy in men's domestic English football.

Organised by the English Football League (EFL), it is open to any club within the top four levels of the English football league system – 92 clubs in total – comprising the top-level Premier League, and the three divisions of the English Football League's own league competition (Championship, League One and League Two). The tournament is played over seven rounds, with single-leg ties, except for the semi-finals.
