5. Thierry Henry – 7 goals
He was unplayable and a nuisance for defenders, making them seem like amateurs on the field. During his time at Arsenal, Henry scored over 200 goals and broke multiple records; he was a prolific player who ranks fifth in most Premier League Boxing Day goals.
He also had a hat-trick on Boxing Day, scoring three goals and laying an assist in a 6-1 win over Leicester. Since then, no team has ever won a Boxing Day game by a substantial margin.
4. Alan Shearer – 8 goals
Shearer may not have featured for the top six in the Premier League, but he was among the finest strikers in the league and achieved an assortment of records in his tenure with Newcastle, as he continues to be a highest-scorers in Premier League history, with 260 goals, including a record for Boxing Day.
Although two of them came from Blackburn Rovers, as he scored twice against Manchester City in 1994 and 1995, while rest he scored as a Newcastle player on Boxing Day.
