The forward now has seven goals in the ISL.

ATK Mohun Bagan reclaimed the third spot in the Indian Super League (ISL 2022-23) table with a 2-0 win over Odisha FC at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata, on Saturday. Dimitri Petratos’ brace was enough to help the Mariners get another impressive win at home.

Here are the player ratings from the game.

ATK Mohun Bagan (by Uttiyo Sarkar)

Vishal Kaith – 6.0

Kaith barely had much to do, but maintained utmost concentration to make stops whenever needed.

Asish Rai – 8.0

Rai neutralized Nandhakumar’s threat with a lively performance. Was in the right positions almost all the time, making seven interceptions, three tackles and two blocks. Capped off a great performance with a smart assist for the second goal.

Pritam Kotal – 7.5

Kotal kept the dangerous Mauricio quiet by keeping him on his toes. Made four interceptions and two clearances to not allow any empty space to Odisha in the final third.

Brendan Hamill – 7.5

Hamill commanded an unbreakable backline and popped up with key challenges whenever needed. He made four interceptions and four clearances to stop the visitors from causing trouble.

Subasish Bose – 7.0

Bose maintained a very calm situation on the left and brought composure to his side. Kept Jerry Mawihmingthanga quiet and crept up with some timely challenges to avert trouble.

Glan Martins – 9.0

Glan had a (second) ATKMB debut to remember. He prowled around like a hound in midfield, winning challenges regularly. He made five tackles, five interceptions and four blocks in a performance that should earn him more starts going forward.

Carl McHugh – 7.5

McHugh partnered up with Martins really nicely to neutralize Odisha’s movement through the middle. Bullish in midfield, making three tackles and four interceptions.

Manvir Singh – 6.5

Troubled Odisha with his blazing forward runs down the right. Delivered a nice cross for Petratos’ first goal and caused much trouble with his menacing movement.

Hugo Boumous – 7.5

Boumous’ off-the-ball movement and superb touches left Odisha FC bamboozled. He wandered into key empty spaces and opened things up for his teammates too. Created three big chances and also got a great touch for Petratos’ opener.

Ashique Kuruniyan – 5.0

Ashique’s speedy movement had Narender Gahlot panting and he often slipped into key areas with his smart dribbling. Forced a great save with an impressive right-footed shot in the first half. Lost his head for an unnecessary lash out at Carlos Delgado late in the game and received a red card.

Dimitri Petratos – 9.0

Petratos started the game with a great goal, picking out a clever shot to pounce on an error. Helped his teammates by dropping deep and linking up nice moves. He scored his second with a clever tap-in. Clinical!

Substitutes

Liston Colaco – 7.0

Liston almost made immediate impact, with his fantastic pass allowing Asish to assist the second goal. Hit the bar from close range later on and was electric in the final third.

Federico Gallego – 6.5

Gallego gave ATK Mohun Bagan a creative push late on, creating a big chance for Liston that wasn’t converted.

Slavko Damjanovic – N/A

Puitea – N/A

Odisha FC (by Souvari Paul)

Amrinder Singh - 6.5

Made three saves out of five faced on goal. Looked confident under the goal but did not have much to do in the cases of ATK Mohun Bagan’s goals.

Narender Gahlot - 5.5

Made a mess out of a clearance at the beginning of the game that resulted in ATK Mohun Bagan’s first goal. Did not look good in aiding attacks and was a bit shaky in defence.

Carlos Delgado - 6.5

With a high number of passes and a few defensive contributions, Delgado had a decent game. Needed to do better to prevent ATK Mohun Bagan from scoring twice.

Sahil Panwar - 6.0

Made three clearances and one tackle, interception, and block each. Whipped in two crosses. However, this was not enough to prevent his team from losing.

Thoiba Singh - 5.0

Thoiba had a poor outing today. Despite playing for around 62 minutes, he was able to play only five passes. Was subbed off in the second half.

Raynier Fernandes - N/A

Played for around 20 minutes only. Was subbed off due to an injury.

Saul Crespo - 7.5

Was one of the standout players in Odisha’s midfield. Had the highest number of touches and played the highest number of passes for his side. Created two chances. Lacked support from his fellow midfielders.

Osama Malik - 5.5

Did not have a good game in an unusual position. Was more effective in making defensive contributions rather than aiding the attack.

Jerry Mawihmingthanga - 4.5

Took an off-target shot. Had very few passes and touches. Was not able to make any meaningful contribution whatsoever.

Diego Mauricio - 5.5

Played the entire game but was able to take only one shot. Created one chance. Did not get an opportunity to threaten ATK Mohun Bagan’s goal in a significant manner.

Nandhakumar Sekar - 6.0

Played for 62 minutes but was not effective in any meaningful manner. Took one shot. Had very few touches and passes.

Substitutes

Isaac Vanmalsawma - 4.5

Came on in place of Raynier. Apart from having a high number of touches, could not live up to the occasion. Was mostly invisible throughout the game.

Pedro Martin - 4.0

Played for 30 minutes but was not effective. No meaningful contribution in the game.

Isak Vanlalruatfela - 4.5

Return to the team was not much good for Isak. Glanced a shot and whipped in two crosses. None of these attempts was threatening.

Aniket Jadhav - 4.5

Aniket’s start for Odisha was not good. He played for 30 minutes but failed to make any meaningful impact. Needs more time to adapt with the team.

Nikhil Prabhu - 4.0

Played for around 30 minutes but failed to impress. Was not able to make any significant contribution.
