Fans always cheer for the players who score the most goals

People often call Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Tottenham or Spurs. It is an English football team based in London. It appears to be playing in the Premier League, the best football league in England. Since April 2019, the team's home games have been held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In 1901, Spurs won the FA Cup.

They were the first team in the 20th century to win both the League and the FA Cup in the same season, which happened in 1960–61. The club also won the first UEFA Cup, held in 1972. From the 1950s to the 2000s, they won at least one major trophy every decade. Only Manchester United have done the same thing. Fans of Tottenham always cheer for the players who score the most goals.

10. Alan Gilzean - 133

Alan Gilzean was a professional footballer for the Scotland national team from 1955 until 1975. Gilzean was a famous striker for both Dundee and Tottenham Hotspur. To compare, Dundee won the 1961–62 Scottish League Championship. He joined the Spurs in 1964, and Tottenham won the FA Cup in 1967, two League Cups in 1971 and 1973, and the UEFA Cup in 1972. He scored 133 goals in 439 appearances for the Spurs.

9. Len Duquemin - 134

Len Duquemin was a professional football player, and his time with Tottenham Hotspur is what most people remember about him. He started playing for the Spurs in March 1946. He was a key member of Arthur Rowe's "push and run" team, which won the league championship in 1951. People called him "The Duke." Duquemin was the first famous football player from the Channel Islands. He went on to score 134 goals in 307 games for the Spurs.

8. Son Heung-min - 137

In 2013, he joined Bayer Leverkusen for a club-record €10 million. Two years later, he joined Tottenham for £22 million, becoming the most expensive Asian player ever.

Son became Tottenham's most prolific Asian scorer. He became the second Asian to start a UEFA Champions League final in 2019. He scored 23 goals in 2021–22 to become the first Asian Premier League Golden Boot winner. Son has scored 137 goals so far in 347 games for the club.

7. George Hunt - 138

George Hunt joined Tottenham Hotspur in June 1930 for £1,500 from Chesterfield. He scored well for seven seasons. He scored the most goals for three seasons, from 1931 to 1933. Tottenham was promoted to the First Division with 32 league goals in 1932-33. Despite the poor effort, he scored 138 goals in 198 League and FA Cup games. He finishes seven but can be shifted to 8th very soon because Son is just one goal behind to equalize.
