The Blues secured their sixth consecutive win in the league.
Bengaluru FC put up a resolute performance to beat Kerala Blasters 1-0 at the Kanteerava Stadium in the ISL 2022-23 game. In front of a record crowd of 28,000, a team effort helped BFC climb back into the playoff spots and up to the fifth place. This is BFC's sixth straight win.
Sandesh Jhingan rattled the crossbar with a header from Javi’s free-kick, but BFC did not have to wait long for an opening as Roy Krishna slid in the only goal of the night after Javi played the Fijian in.
Kerala Blasters began the second half with a string of chances, but Bengaluru FC defended with all their might to defy the Blasters. The Blues looked like a constant threat at the counter, but could not find that one killer passes to kill the game.
Bengaluru FC Ratings (Sathvik Bharadwaj)
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu - 7.0
Fresh off signing a new contract, the captain’s distribution was impeccable. Collected high balls well.
Prabir Das - 6.5
Good sliding block to deny Sahal and won the individual battle down the right.
Sandesh Jhingan - 7.5
Hit the cross-bar with a bullet header off a Javi free-kick. Made 6 clearances and put his body on the line.
Alan Costa - 9.0
The Brazilian was incredible in defence, mopping up loose balls in the first half and foiling the Kerala Blasters attackers with his positioning. Made five successful interceptions and was a threat in the opposition box.
Parag Shrivas - 7.5
Was aggressive in winning second balls, picked up a yellow in the quarter-hour mark for a clumsy tackle, but did not let the booking play on his mind.
Naorem Roshan Singh - 8.0
An enterprising display from the full-back, tested Gill with a curling effort at the hour mark. Created four chances.

Battled Kaliuzhnyi in the heart of midfield. Progressed the ball well out of key areas to launch counters with an accuracy of 84% and made three successful tackles
Rohit Kumar - 8.0
Doubled up as an extra defensive presence around the box, and did the mopping-up role in the wide areas to perfection.
Javi Hernandez - 8.5
Set up Roy for the opening goal with a neat through ball. Good delivery from set-pieces. Authoritative game in midfield once again, pulling the strings ever time he had the ball.

Squeezed in the opening goal with a measured finish after turning Ruivah inside out. Was full of bustling runs everywhere on the pitch.
Sivasakthi Narayanan - 7.0

Prabhsukhan Gill (GK) - 7.0
It was unlucky to see Prabhsukhan Gill end up on the losing side. He made five saves during the game but a moment of lapse in concentration led to Bengaluru FC’s goal that won them the game.
Nishu Kumar - 7.0
Nishu Kumar was heavily involved, had 75 touches on the ball and looked composed in possession. Although he made two crosses, his performance lacked quality in the attacking third.
Victor Mongil - 6.5
Victor Mongil made three clearances and five blocks in another solid performance. However, he was caught out of position which led to the goal by Roy Krishna.
Ruivah Hormipam - 5.5
The centre-back failed to stop Roy Krishna from scoring on the near post and that was the defining moment of the match.
Jessel Carneiro - 6.5
Jessel Carneiro created three scoring chances for his team but his quality of crosses into the box could have been better.
Jeakson Singh - 6.5
The midfielder worked hard for his team, took 70 touches of the ball and completed 50 passes in the game.
Ivan Kaliuzhnyi - 7.5
Ivan Kaliuzhnyi was impressive, and had 83 touches on the ball but could not influence the game as he would have liked. He picked up a yellow card, created two chances and attempted ten tackles during the match
Sahal Samad - 5.5
Sahal Abdul Samad took four attempts on goal but could not find the back of the net, unfortunately. Prabir Das kept a close watch on him throughout the game.
Rahul KP - 4.5
The midfielder did not have an enjoyable time on the pitch and did not take any attempts on goal before leaving the pitch for Bryce Miranda in the second half.
Adrian Luna - 7.5
Adrian Luna was unable to make an impact and walked away from the game with a yellow card that suspends him from the next fixture. He created three scoring chances and had a massive 83 touches on the ball but there was no luck in the final third for him against a rigid BFC defence. He made eight crosses and tried his best to find an equaliser.
Dimitrios Diamantakos - 6.5
Dimitrios Diamantakos ran his socks off and got involved in the build-up several times. However, there was a lack of clearing scoring chances that frustrated the striker. He had only one shot on goal which went off the target.
