Ratings: Adrian Luna stars in Kerala Blasters' win over Chennaiyin FC

The Yellow Army took a huge step towards securing playoff qualification.
Kerala Blasters secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Chennaiyin FC in their latest Indian Super League (ISL 2022-23) fixture at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Tuesday. Goals from Adrian Luna and Rahul KP cancelled out an early strike by Nasser El Khayati for the visitors.
There were several notable individual performances from the game that caught the eye of the spectators in the stands. It was a brilliant contest between two clubs that had quality players in their line-up.

Prabhsukhan Gill (GK) - 6.5
Prabhsukhan Gill was solid between the sticks apart from that one moment when he conceded the opening goal of the game. He made five saves to help his team win the contest.
Nishu Kumar - 6.0
Nishu Kumar worked extremely hard down the right flank. He created one scoring chance and had over 71 touches of the ball.
Hormipam Ruivah - 6.5
Hormipam Ruivah's partnership with Victor Mongil is getting stronger with every gameweek. He was strong in defence, made three clearances and kept the Chennaiyin FC attacks away from the box.
Victor Mongil - 7.0
Victor Mongil was sensational yet again, leading the defence by example. He was crucial in retaining ball possession and building up from the back. The defender completed 52 of his 57 passes.
Jessel Carneiro - 6.5
Jessel Carneiro delivered a good performance as well. The left-back made seven crosses in the match and took a couple of shots on goal too!
Jeakson Singh - 7.0
Jeakson Singh continued to play an important role for Kerala Blasters. His contribution in the midfield gave the hosts a large share of the ball possession. Singh made four tackles and had 57 touches of the ball.
Ivan Kaliuzhnyi - 7.0
Ivan Kaliuzhnyi started on the night despite reports of him being unwell. The midfielder had 90 touches on the ball, made three blocks and combined well with Adrian Luna to cause problems to Chennaiyin FC's defence.
Sahal Abdul Samad - 6.0
He got a yellow card for arguing with the referee and struggled to influence the game in the attacking third. He made three crosses and did not take a single shot on goal.
Adrian Luna - 9.0
Adrian Luna was the player to watch before the game and the midfielder proved yet again why he is one of the best players in the ISL. He scored the equaliser for Kerala Blasters with a sensational shot that went into the top corner. Later, he provided the assist for Rahul’s goal that earned the hosts three points.
Rahul KP - 8.5
The winger scored the second goal for the Yellow Army and handed them the lead. He was adventurous in his dribbling and scored with a well-taken first-time finish from inside the box.
Dimitrios Diamantakos - 7.5
The striker made several runs behind Chennaiyin FC’s defence but did not always receive quality service. He created two chances for his team.

Bryce Miranda - 7.0
He almost won a penalty and delivered a good cross in the latter stages of the game. A positive cameo.
Saurav Mandal - 6.0
Got six minutes of game-time and had eight touches on the ball.

Samik Mitra - 6.0
Was actively involved in the first half, making good saves. Could have made a better effort in the second half while conceding the second.
Edwin Vanspaul - 6.0
Couldn't read much of Luna in the first half but had a decent outing in the second.
Vafa Hakhamaneshi - 6.5
Was solid at the back, making three clearances, two interceptions, and one tackle.
Gurmukh Singh - 6.0
Had a decent game where he made nine clearances and one interception.
Aakash Sangwan - 7.0
Was good in defence as he got involved in three tackles and four interceptions. Whipped in a solid cross to Petar Sliskovic at the start.
Julius Duker - 6.5
Had a passing accuracy of 95 per cent and was involved in six tackles and two interceptions.
Anirudh Thapa - 6.5
Wasn't active in the final third but registered two off-target shots. Played well defensively, getting involved in four tackles.
Nasser El Khayati - 8.0
Was the lone warrior in attack against Kerala Blasters, as he created spaces all around the pitch. Had three shots on target and scored a goal.
Ninthoi Meetei - 6.0
Couldn't create enough chances in the attacking third but was involved in three tackles and two clearances.
Vincy Barretto - 6.0
Wasn't at his best and created only one chance. Substituted in the 63rd minute.
Petar Sliskovic - 6.5
Assisted the opening goal and glanced one shot on target.
Substitutes
Karikari - 6.0
Had only 16 touches and glanced two shots which were off target.
Prasanth K - 6.5
Played well coming in as a substitute in the second half.
Rahim Ali - 6.5
Didn't have much to offer after coming in as a substitute in the 76th minute.
