Raphael Varane: List of trophies and individual honours

The Frenchman has gathered a number of awards for his exceptional defensive prowess.

The French centre-back is widely considered one of the best Defenders of his time. He is known for his tough defending skills which come with pace, which is extremely important nowadays. Raphael Varane is known for his time at the Spanish club Real Madrid where he won all the big Domestic as well as European trophies.

The French player is just 29 years old but had an illustrious career. He is versatile in his position and also was a constant presence in the French World Cup match squad in the 2022 World Cup. Varane made his debut with the French club Lens. He was transferred to Real Madrid at the age of 19 and stayed there until the summer of 2021. He then moved to the English club Manchester United that summer. Raphael Varane also won the World Cup with France in 2018 in Russia. Although 29, Varane has already announced his retirement from the French National squad because of the ‘Overload’ of work due to such tight schedules.
