The Spanish midfielder rose from the Malaga CF youth programme.
Iván Jaime Pajuelo, a centre midfielder for Famalico, was born in Spain on September 26, 2000. Jaime, who was up in Málaga, Spain, joined the Málaga CF youth programme in 2011. On November 26, 2017, he made his varsity debut with the reserves, coming on as the first-half replacement in a 1-0 Tercera División road wins over Villacarrillo CF.
Jaime earned his first-team start on September 11, 2018, fifteen days before turning 18 years old, after taking the place of fellow rookie Abdel Abqar in a 1-2 Copa del Rey loss at home against UD Almera. On November 25, he netted his first senior goal, hitting the B's' first through a penalty shot in a 2-1 victory over Atlético Sanluqueo CF at home.
Jaime extended his tenure with the Blanquiazules through the end of 2022 on February 28, 2019. On June 12 of the next year, he gained his Segunda División start after taking over for fellow young graduate Luis Muoz late in a 1-3 home defeat to SD Huesca.
Jaime left the country on September 23, 2020, and he committed to a five-year deal with F.C. Famalico of the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
The following 4 April, he got his first goal as a senior, adding to his team's second goal in a 2-0 victory over F.C. Paços de Ferreira at home. Later that month, he scored twice in a 3-0 victory at Gil Vicente F.C.
His ascent has been meteoric, and major Portuguese teams like Porto and Sporting CP have shown interest in the player.
Will Jamie end up at one of the biggest clubs in Portugal?
Iván Jaime, a Spanish attacking midfielder now playing for Famalico, is being pursued by a number of teams, including Sporting and FC Porto. The interest is rising as his current contract ends in 2025. In 22 games overall in Portugal this season, Jaime has 7 goals and 3 assists.
If he maintains his consistency throughout this season, he may go to a major club where he may compete in European tournaments and stimulate the interest of prominent European clubs. As he is Spanish, clubs like Barcelona or Real Madrid could be interested in signing him in the future, however, it is yet unclear how things will turn out for the youngster.
Ivan Jaime's playing style
Iván is a promising midfielder who generates opportunities with his strong dribbling and long passing range.Jaime's style of play is similar to that of the contemporary Spanish midfielder, who is technically adept and relies on his skill with the ball to make up for a lack of visible physicality, however, his slightly slender build may provide him additional agility.
