Neymar's Injury history at Paris Saint-Germain

Ever since his move to the Ligue 1, The Brazilian has missed a lot of games due to injuries

When playing, the Brazilian international Neymar has made a good impact in France, but his frequent stints on the bench have drawn criticism.

The Brazilian attacker ended a four-year stay at La Liga powerhouse Barcelona by making a record-breaking €222 million (£200 million/$262 million) transfer to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017.

The 31-year-old has, however, experienced frequent absences off the pitch due to nagging injuries that were challenging to recover from.

How many PSG games has Neymar been absent from?

Since joining PSG in 2017, Neymar has missed more than 100 games due to injuries. The South American developed the odd sickness in the initial months of his stay in France, but a broken metatarsal in February 2018 ended a rookie season at PSG early.

He spent many weeks in the hospital after suffering a similar injury in January 2019, and hamstring issues prevented him from playing in the 2019–20 season. Since then, adductor problems have sadly become regular, and the attacker has consistently struggled with ankle problems.
