Atlanta learned through trial and error back in March that Federico Bernardeschi is Toronto's main and lone dangerman with three goals and one assist while Lorenzo Insigne is still sidelined due to injury. With Adama Diomande still sidelined due to injury, Toronto now has two starting attackers.
The stat sheet makes this fairly apparent as the only players other than Bernardeschi to have more than one goal-contributing action are midfielders Michael Bradley and Mark Anthony-Kaye. Toronto's lack of attacking dynamism has been at least somewhat offset by the defence, as seen by the Reds' three shutouts, which are tied for the sixth-most in MLS.
