The hosts Toronto haven't lost in the league since the first game of the year, but they've only had one victory in their last six games. Toronto's previous game ended in a scoreless tie with Nashville.
Atlanta United, on the other hand, has recovered well from a 6-1 crushing loss to Columbus Crew and is undefeated in two league games. The last time around, they had a 1-1 tie with New York City.
Atlanta are in third position in the Eastern Conference with 14 points, while Toronto are ninth in the league with just one victory in MLS 2023.

- In four of their six home games versus Atlanta, the hosts have netted at least two goals.
- Atlanta have recorded goals in seven MLS games so far this year.
Players and injury news
Atlanta learned through trial and error back in March that Federico Bernardeschi is Toronto's main and lone dangerman with three goals and one assist while Lorenzo Insigne is still sidelined due to injury. With Adama Diomande still sidelined due to injury, Toronto now has two starting attackers.
The stat sheet makes this fairly apparent as the only players other than Bernardeschi to have more than one goal-contributing action are midfielders Michael Bradley and Mark Anthony-Kaye. Toronto's lack of attacking dynamism has been at least somewhat offset by the defence, as seen by the Reds' three shutouts, which are tied for the sixth-most in MLS.

Toronto vs Atlanta United Prediction
The hosts currently have a league-best six-game winning streak. Additionally, they have three straight wins at home this season. Atlanta has lost both of its road games. They had just one victory in their previous three league games after winning three of their first four contests.
Last month's league match between the two teams ended in a 1-1 tie. Since that time, relatively little has transpired, and another draw may occur.
Prediction: Toronto 1-1 Atlanta
