Where and how to watch AFC Asian Cup 2023 Draw

This will be India’s fifth appearance at the continental competition.
The draw for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, Qatar is all set to take place on the 11th of May, with the biggest footballing powerhouses of Asian football, spectating their placements in various groups.
A total of 24 teams have qualified for the competition that will take place in January 2024. The teams will be divided into six groups (Groups A to F) of four teams.
India is placed in Pot 4, along with debutant Tajikistan, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia.

The draw will take place at the Katara Opera House in Doha on May 11, 2023.

Igor Stimac’s statement ahead of the draw
Prior to the draw for the 2023 Asian Cup, India head coach Igor Stimac shared his thoughts.
“There’s great anticipation before the draw. There’s still some time left until the competition itself, and I would say that it is very important, how well we use that time to prepare, rather than concentrate on who our opponents will be.”
“I truly believe in our team and the work that they put in, and with the support of the huge Indian fan base in Qatar, we can achieve our goals,” he added.
