Emiliano Martinez ready to quit Aston Villa amid Man United interest

The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner wants to play in Champions League
Aston Villa will consider offers for Emiliano Martinez during the summer after he stated his desire to depart the club for the chance to participate in the Champions League.
The Argentine Emiliano Martinez moved to Villa from Arsenal in 2020 for a cost of roughly £16 million and has since established himself as one of the Premier League's greatest goalkeepers.
Emiliano Martinez's stock rose substantially in December after he helped Argentina win the World Cup.
Argentina's saviour in the spot-kick shootout consisted of the 30-year-old, who denied Kingsley Coman and Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Martinez's feeling that he ought to be competing at greater levels has only grown, and he has indicated to Villa that he wishes to play in the Champions League.
While Martinez has stated that he is keen to do so with Villa, the club is now eighth in the Premier League table and has an opportunity of reaching the top four.
Martinez's goals are shared by Villa, who will reluctantly hear suggestions for him this summer. Martinez, on the other hand, will command a hefty sum from Unai Emery's side.
In 2018, Liverpool spent roughly £72 million for Alisson Becker, while Chelsea paid around £67 million for Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea are already considering making an offer. United needs a goalkeeper, given how De Gea has proven prone to errors in games.
Similarly to Kepa, who has gradually deteriorated in his performance, the Spanish custodian has readily conceds goals since replacing Mendy as the Blues' number one custodian.
Given Lloris' age, Spurs will also require a custodian next season, and the French international could depart the club in the summer.
However, it remains to be known how much Villains are willing to put a price tag on the former Arsenal goalkeeper.
