Here is a potential Galactico XI with the English midfielder in the starting line-up.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Los Blancos are making significant strides in the project to land the 19-year-old England international Jude Bellingham and are set to beat the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea to the player.

As an orthodox central midfielder, he matches the profile of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Fede Valverde, according to the analysis of experts SciSports but equally as a more defensive player his style matches that of Camavinga and Tchouameni. Let’s take a look at how the lineup will look after the English sensation's arrival.

Thibaut Courtois (GK)

Courtois is widely considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in world football. The Belgian international has been incredible for Real Madrid since his arrival, which included a man-of-the-match performance in last season’s Champions League final. It is a no-brainer to keep him at the club as he has continued his pursuit this season and is known for his stellar saves and reflexes.

Thibaut Courtois has conceded 24 goals and kept 9 clean sheets in 26 matches in the La Liga 2022/2023 season. That means when Courtois is in goal, his team conceded a goal every 98 minutes. Courtois's per 90 minutes goals conceded stat is 0.92. In terms of raw goalkeeping, he's saved 70 of the 95 shots faced - meaning Thibaut Courtois's save percentage is 73.68%.

Eduardo Camavinga (LB)

Camavinga has been a revelation for Real Madrid in 2023. The 20-year-old has stepped up to the plate with great effect, producing a string of excellent performances in both central midfield and a left back. Camavinga prefers playing in midfield, but Real Madrid will value his versatility going forward. He has gone to another level this season, and if he keeps it up, he will become one of the best midfielders in world football in no time.

Looking into his passing aspect of the game, Camavinga passes the ball roughly 61.46 times during a game with a pass completion rate of 91.68%. He also plays 1.01 key passes each game which leads to significant scoring chances.

Eder Militao (CB)

Militao is already one of the best central defenders in world football, and he has gone to an extra level this season. On top of his excellent defensive displays, he has added goals to his game, scoring seven already in this campaign. He will surely go from strength to strength over the next few years, and Real Madrid are understandably desperate for him to stay for a long, long time.

As a defender, Eder Gabriel Militao has conceded 25 goals and kept 11 clean sheets in 29 matches in the La Liga 2022/2023 season. Moreover, he's made 1.35 tackles and 1.23 interceptions for every 90 minutes he was on the pitch. Militao is also racking up about 3.46 clearances at the same time.

Antonio Rudiger (CB)

The defender is one of the trusted names on the sheet as he has developed himself according to the Spanish league since his move from Chelsea. This season, Antonio Rüdiger has appeared in 29 matches this season in La Liga, playing a total of 2138 minutes and he concedes an average of 0.93 goals for every 90 minutes that the player is on the pitch. Antonio Rüdiger has kept a Clean Sheet in 10 matches out of the 29 that the player has played in.

He has conceded 22 goals and kept 10 clean sheets in 29 matches in the La Liga 2022/2023 season. That means when Rudiger is on the pitch, his team conceded a goal every 97 minutes. Moreover, he's made 0.67 tackles and 0.67 interceptions for every 90 minutes he was on the pitch. Rudiger is also racking up about 2.53 clearances at the same time which makes him the support of the defense.

Dani Carvajal (RB)

Dani Carvajal has long stood out at Real Madrid for his offensive contribution more than for his defensive contribution. Yet, he continues to more than hold his own with regards to his defensive stats across Spain and Europe. 2022/23 has helped him to further establish himself as one of Europe’s most reliable defenders.

That is shown by the fact that he is only dribbled past on average once every 146 minutes, one of the lowest rates in LaLiga. That run extends beyond just the start of this season, but also into the tale end of 2021/22.

Aurelien Tchouameni (CM)

Tchouameni is an extremely talented footballer, and he has all of the attributes to become one of the best defensive midfielders in world football, and he is getting that opportunity to prove himself this season. However, Tchouameni has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in recent months, with Ancelotti opting for the more experience duo of Modric and Kroos alongside Valverde.

Given where Real Madrid are currently in their season, it’s no surprise that Ancelotti has taken this decision. It would be very unlike Real Madrid if they were to give up on Tchouameni after one season. Yes, he’s struggles at times, but so did Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Eder Militao, and all three are now regular starters and important players.

Jude Bellingham (RM)

Typically, the England international plays on the right side of a central three but has the advantage of being able to play as a number 6, 8 or 10. This makes him tremendously versatile, particularly as he is almost equally effective in all of these roles. Bellingham is at his best when given the freedom to advance in a box-to-box role, with much of his good work coming from a left-sided eight position.

Kroos has excelled here for however many years in the Spanish capital, and he'll share his minutes with the England international next season. Bellingham could, of course, operate from the right side of Carlo Ancelotti's expected midfield three, also. Bellingham could be promised a place in Real Madrid’s midfield as part of a long-term rebuild. But that rebuild will require Kroos and Modric to be pushed out.

Federico Valverde (LM)

Valverde’s goal-scoring ability has been one of his most impressive attributes this season. He has scored six goals in 17 matches in La Liga, making him the tenth highest scorer in the league. His conversion rate for shots to goals is 41%, which is an impressive statistic for a midfielder. Valverde’s passing accuracy has also been impressive this season, with a completion rate of 86.4%. He has also been a regular provider of key passes and assists, with two assists so far this season.

Valverde’s defensive contribution have also been impressive, with 22 aerial duels won, 27 tackles and one block in La Liga this season. He has also won over 50% of his defensive challenges, and his tackling success rate is an impressive 64%. All in all, Federico Valverde has had a strong season with Real Madrid and looks set to be a key player for Uruguay in the upcoming World Cup

Vinicius Jr. (LW)

Vinicius Junior is having another outstanding season by scoring 22 goals and making 20 assists, joining a very exclusive club of players who were able to achieve that. This feat has only been achieved 30 times in the five major European leagues since the start of the 21st century, according to statistics from Transfermarkt. Since his Real Madrid debut, the Brazilian has shown exceptional skills in creating and finishing goals.

This season, he has played a key role in the team, contributing to several important wins by scoring crucial goals and creating goalscoring opportunities for his teammates. His influence on the team was particularly notable in the Champions League, where he is the driving and supporting force at the same time.

Here is the complete XI

Karim Benzema (CF)

The Frenchman has just converted his season from being average to outstanding, where he had just five goals in seven games before the World Cup. Benzema has hit 12 goals in his last 14, as per Marca, compared to just six for Lewandowski in his last 14 – double the rate of the Polish hitman. With six games to go in the La Liga season, the race for the Pichichi title looks like a two-horse race, with Benzema gaining rapidly.

Only Erling Haaland has more goals this calendar year as it happens, with 27 goals in 26 games compared to 23 in 25 for Benzema. The Manchester City phenom will have the chance to go toe-to-toe with Benzema next week in the Champions League.

Rodrygo (RW)

Rodrygo’s role at Real Madrid has changed massively since last season. He has gone from a super sub to forming a front three with Vinicius and Benzema. The Brazilian winger’s productivity has also improved in this campaign. Of course, he is still just 22 years of age and there is room for improvement, especially when it comes to consistency. But overall, Rodrygo is certainly on the right path. However, with Valverde being a natural midfielder, Ancelotti has had to think about a long-term solution on the right flank.

And in recent months and weeks, it has looked like Rodrygo has started to emerge as the most suitable for that role. In recent times, Ancelotti has been able to rely on Rodrygo to make a difference in the final third. And the Brazilian has delivered when given the chance. His evolution has earned him a position as a regular starter. Ancelotti loves his style of play and the different variants he brings. Last season the Brazilian was mainly used in the role of an impact substitute. However this season has been much different.
