The Bundesliga champions will eye their 12th consecutive league title

Bayern Munich clinched their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title and took their overall tally to 33 in the German top division. As the 2023-24 season approaches, Bayern Munich fans will be eager to see how their beloved team will line up on the field. With a squad boasting incredible depth and talent, the possibilities are endless for the reigning German champions.

Under the guidance of their experienced coach, the lineup is expected to showcase a perfect blend of established stars and rising talents. Their sights will be set on domestic and European glory, and fans can look forward to witnessing an exciting and formidable Bayern Munich team that will take the field in the 2023–24 season.

This is how Bayern Munich could lineup in the 2023-24 season

Manuel Neuer- Goalkeeper

Since joining Bayern Munich in 2011, Manuel Neuer has won every league title

Manuel Neuer has captained the Germany and Bayern Munich sides for years now. He was out of action for the second part of the season because of an injury that kept him away from protecting the goal for the German champions.

He has been the Number one choice at the club for a long time now. The German custodian is very comfortable with the ball and has the ability to play the ball from behind. Neuer has almost won everything possible for a European. A nine-time Bundesliga champion, a six-time DFB Cup winner, two UEFA Champions Leagues, one FIFA Club World Cup, two UEFA Super Cups, six DFL Supercups, and to top it all off, that prized FIFA World Cup title from 2014.

Alphonso Davies- Left-back

The 22-year-old Canadian footballer has put Canada on the football map; he helped them qualify for the FIFA World Cup, which was held in Qatar last year. He has played all the matches of his career in the Bundesliga as a member of FC Bayern Munich.

Alphonso Davies took the German Championship title in 18-19, 19-20, 20-21, 21-22, and 22-23. He won the Champions League while playing for FC Bayern München in 2019–20. He won the DFB-Pokal in 2019–20 with FC Bayern Munich. He won the Supercup in 2020, 2021, and 2022 with FC Bayern München.

Kim Min-Jae- Centre-back

The South Korean centre-back was vital and played an integral part in Napoli's success this season; he helped them win the Scudetto and reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League. His performances have impressed clubs including Manchester United, Newcastle, and now Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich are reportedly close to signing Korean centre-back Kim Min-jae from Serie A champions Napoli, and it is believed that Bayern is the place where he wants to play. It is widely believed that Bayern would have to cough up €70 million for the former Fenerbahce man, who will sign a 5-year contract if he agrees to his personal terms with Bayern Munich.

Matthijs de Ligt- Centre-back

It was a successful first season after signing on from Juventus last summer. Despite a few inconsistencies to start the season, De Ligt ended the year making 16 starts in a row, recording two goals and one assist with 37 clearances and 19 tackles in that span.

He will continue to serve as the starting centre-back alongside Dayot Upamecano for the 2023–24 campaign if Kim Min-Jae somehow doesn't sign for the German champions. Matthijs de Ligt's long-range thunderbolt for Bayern Munich against Freiburg was been voted by fans as the Bundesliga's Goal of the Season for 2022-23.

Kyle Walker- Right-back

The English right-back has been exceptional since he left Tottenham Hotspur for Manchester City; he has won everything with Manchester City, including the treble this season after beating Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

Bayern Munich's problem of not having a right-back was visible this season. Joao Cancelo was signed on loan from Manchester City to fill up the space, but he wasn't able to perform well. So, Bayern have entered the race to sign the speedy right-back; his speed has always been his quality, and attackers find it difficult to beat him when it comes to 1v1 situations.

Konrad Laimer- Centre-midfield

Bayern Munich's new signing from RB Leipzig Konrad Laimer is one of the most combative and complete central midfielders in the German top flight. He made almost 200 appearances for RB Leipzig before joining Bayern Munich.

The midfielder swelled his career Bundesliga goal tally to 10 with one each on the final two matchdays, first helping Leipzig to a first-ever away win over new club Bayern before striking against Schalke as Die Roten Bullen secured third place and Champions League football once again. He's going to be a key player for the club in the future, but he hasn't reached his potential yet.

Jamal Musiala- Centre-attacking midfield

Nicknamed "Bambi", Musiala is known for his world-class dribbling ability and is often considered one of the best young attackers in the world. He is among the nine Bundesliga youngsters on the Golden Boy shortlist, with him being the front-runner to win this trophy. He finished among the top four in each of the previous two annual ballots.

He is considered Bayern Munich's and Germany's sensation, and despite only just turning 20, he is already a superstar in the making. Musiala ended the Bundesliga campaign with 12 goals and 10 assists—the biggest combined hand of any Bayern player—most notably hitting the title-clincher off the bench in Cologne on the final day.

Joshua Kimmich- Centre-midfield

Joshua Kimmich might be the only man in the modern game to rank as conceivably the world's best player in two different positions. He plays as a defensive midfielder or right-back for the Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the German national team. Considered one of the best midfielders in the world, he is known for his versatility, aggression, and playmaking ability.

Philipp Lahm’s retirement has meant that Kimmich has been able to lock down his spot as Bayern’s first-choice right-back while also consistently pleasing German boss Joachim Loew with his performance levels. The defensive midfielder remains a uniquely talented option to lead the attack and consistently produces major floor and upside.

Kingsley Coman- Left-wing

Kingsley Coman is a French professional football player. He mainly plays the roles of a forward and winger and is currently playing for Bayern Munich and the France national team. Following his performances in the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament, where his nation reached the final but lost 1–0 to Portugal, he was nominated for the Young Player of the Tournament Award.

The French international has won every league he has played in as a professional. In other words, the former Juventus and PSG striker has always managed to lift the title in the domestic championships he has played in. In 12 seasons, he has 12 league trophies under his belt.

Rasmus Hojlund- Striker

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have joined Manchester United in the race for Atalanta star Rasmus Hojlund. The German outfit has placed the striker on their shortlist for the ongoing transfer window. The 20-year-old has showcased his prolificity for his national side. He found the back of the net once again against Slovenia in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, taking the youngster’s tally to six goals in six caps.

Bayern Munich have been unable to replace Robert Lewandowski since his move to Barcelona last summer. The Bavarians had to rely on Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting a lot in the 2022–23 campaign. However, Hojlund is still young and has a lot to learn.

Leroy Sane- Right-wing

Bayern Munich Bundesliga 2023-24

Leroy Sané is a German professional footballer who plays as a winger for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the German national team. Sané is known for his exceptional pace and dribbling ability, he is a wide playmaker who played under Pep when he was in Manchester City.

In the 2022-23 season, he played 32 matches in the Bundesliga, he scored 8 goals and provided 7 assists while playing on the wing for the German Champions. We can expect him to perform the same way he used to perform and make him a starter in 2023-24 for Tuchel's side.
