Bruno Fernandes featured over 6,000 minutes in 70 games for club and country in 2022-23 season

Manchester United's playmaker recently featured against Iceland in Euro 2024 qualifier
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has appeared in the most minutes in more games than any other outfield player in each of the top five leagues across Europe and the top 15 leagues overall, making him a midfielder who is never out of fuel.
For most of the past month, Manchester United have appeared depleted, and some of the players have valid justifications.
No more than Fernandes, who is overwhelmed due to the fact that he played most games for the club in the past season.
In the top 15 divisions in Europe, not to mention the top five, the Portugal star has appeared in 385 more matches than any other outfield player.
Anthony Moris of Union Saint Gilloise, the next player closest, has played 179 fewer minutes so far than Bruno.
The only player in the world with 70 games and more than 6,000 minutes of playing time this season is Bruno Fernandes.
Under Erik ten Hag, Fernandes has served as a constant in the lineup, with the Dutchman virtually elevating him to captain after leaving Harry Maguire out.
When he joined the team more than three years ago, the previous Sporting star hadn't missed one match due to injury; however, there are now questions about his fitness.
In response to a question about his fitness following his two goals for Portugal, Fernandes conceded that he feels less rested right now but argued that there is still time for recovery in the future.
"I was fresh; now I am less fresh, but I will recover. Later, I’ll have my rest, but I always want to play and give my best. I don’t want to think about being tired," Fernandes told the Manchester Evening News.
