3 South American countries make it to the final eight
The FIFA U20 World Cup 2023 started with 24 teams, and now only eight teams remain to fight for the title. These teams will now play against each other to reach the semi-final stages. Israel U20 vs Brazil U20
Israel U20 have a chance to play their first semi-final if they succeed against a talented Brazil U20 side. The Asian country earned a 1-0 win over Uzbekistan U20 in the previous round. Brazil, on the other hand, registered a 4-1 win over Tunisia U20.

Colombia U20 vs Italy U20
Italy are the only European nation left in the competition. The Italians registered a 2-1 win against England. They face Colombia, who won their match 5-1 against Slovakia. Both teams have never reached the final four.

South Korea U20 vs Nigeria U20
South Korea U20 will look to reach the semi-final stage for the third time in their history. The Koreans registered a 3-2 win over Ecuador in a thrilling match. They will face Nigeria, who defeated Argentina 2-0. The Nigerians have reached the semi-final stage three times.

USA U20 vs Uruguay U20
United States will face Uruguay in the last quarter-final. USA U20 won 4-0 against New Zealand U20. Uruguay U20, on the other hand, won 1-0 against Gambia U20. The South American nation has reached the semi-final stage six times but never tasted success. The USA will look to enter their second semi-final.
The knockout stage is a do-or-die situation for every team. The remaining eight teams have a chance to make it to the final four stages. Players will look to win the championship with their nations and get on the history books. With World Cup nearing its final stage, it will be interesting to see which team makes it to the semi-finals.
