Major League Soccer would be buzzing right now as they are set to witness one of the greatest players of all time will soon be playing in their league. Yes, Lionel Messi has joined David Beckham's side Inter Miami.

The league is buzzing following the revelation earlier today that Lionel Messi, the great of Barcelona and PSG, will join Inter Miami. The decorated athlete is getting ready to start a new chapter of his career in Major League Soccer.

However, it appears like Messi won't be the sole Argentine joining the Herons this summer as rumours from Argentina suggest that Gerardo "Tata" Martino, the previous coach of Atlanta United, may also be headed to Miami.

Just months before the team's 2017 MLS debut, in September 2016, Martino was named the manager of Atlanta United. Martino managed the Argentina National Team, the Paraguay National Staff, and FC Barcelona prior to becoming Atlanta United's head coach.

Atlanta United won 42 of its 78 games under Martino's direction during the 2017 and 2018 MLS seasons, and the team won its first championship with the 2018 MLS Cup.

Managing a few of the best players of the last ten years is unquestionably an alluring possibility, and Martino has already suggested that he would be open to returning to the MLS. As part of his initiative in Atlanta, Martino hand-selected Josef Martinez, a legend of Atlanta United and the 2018 MLS MVP, to be a part of it.

If Martino were to take the Inter Miami job, he would be named the third coach of the Herons and would face a difficult task given that Miami is now last in the Eastern Conference with 15 points after 16 games played and a record of 5-0-11.
