Guglielmo Vicario played for Empoli in Serie A during the 2022–23 season. The 26-year-old had a save success rate of 70.8%. He made 3.1 saves per game and was one of the best performers on the side during the campaign.

4. Michele Di Gregorio (Monza) - 71.2%
Michele Di Gregorio was impressive between the sticks for Monza. He had a 71.2% save success rate during the 2022–23 season of the league. The 25-year-old Italian made 121 saves to keep the team fighting for points in every game.
Thanks to his sensational performances, Monza finished the league campaign in 11th position in the table. He made 3.3 saves per game in Italy's top division.
3. Lukasz Skorupski (Bologna) - 71.6%
Lukasz Skorupski had the third-best save success in Italy during the 2022–23 season. He had a 71.6% save success rate while playing for Bologna. His 3.1 saves per game rate was also commendable and made him a key player in the squad.
The Polish custodian made 116 total saves, helping Bologna finish ninth in the league table. He finished the season with seven clean sheets as well.
2. Wladimiro Falcone (Lecce) - 72%
Lecce had Wladimiro Falcone in goal, who was a major reason for their survival in the top flight. As the club finished 16th, barely avoiding relegation, Falcone had a 72% save success rate. His role in keeping the club in the top division was key.
Lecce's No. 1 made 113 saves and had a 3.0 save-per-game rate as well. Several clubs in Italy and across Europe are exploring the opportunity to sign the 28-year-old.
1. Ivan Provedel (Lazio) - 77.2%
Ivan Provedel had the best save success rate in the 2022–23 season of the Italian top division. He was crucial in helping Lazio finish second behind Napoli in the league campaign and secure UEFA Champions League qualification.
Lazio's keeper made a total of 100 saves in the competition and had a 2.6 saves per-game rate. Expectedly, the 29-year-old is generating interest from elite clubs across Europe who want to sign him during the summer transfer window.
