Gavi won the award in 2022

The Golden Boy Award is given annually to the finest player under the age of 21 registered at a European club, and the current holder of the award is Barcelona's starlet Pablo Gavi.

The 18-year-old had a significant effect in his initial year with Barcelona's first team and frequently represented Spain, as he recently won the UEFA Nations League with them.

Gavi, who defeated Jamal Musiala, Jude Bellingham, and Eduardo Camavinga in the final four last time for the Golden Boy award, is the second consecutive Barcelona player to win the award after Pedri secured it in 2021.

He follows a distinguished group of previous Golden Boy title winners that also includes Wayne Rooney, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero, and Lionel Messi.
