Inzaghi's unbeaten streak in finals vs Man City's Treble: Who will prevail?

Battle of Legacies: Inzaghi's Unbeaten Streak in Finals versus City's Treble Quest
Pep Guardiola and Man City are now one win away from completing the English treble of the Premier League, FA Cup, and the Champions League title. They are trying to imitate what their arch-rivals from Manchester-Manchester United did under Sir Alex Ferguson after winning the treble in 1999.
On the other hand, Simone Inzaghi prepares to face Manchester City for the Champions League trophy, and the former Lazio and current Inter coach has a remarkable record in cup competitions, winning his last seven finals.
They meet at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul, while Pep and his men are heading into the final as comfortable favourites, Inzaghi has a very impressive track record when knockout tournaments go all the way.
Pep has been exceptional since he arrived at Etihad, he has helped Manchester City reach the Champions League twice including this final, City were thrashed 1-0 by Chelsea in the Champions League final, Kai Havertz was the difference maker in the 2021 final. Thomas Tuchel led the team which ended up disappointing Manchester City's chances of winning the Champions League that season.
This season, Erling Haaland's signing has been the difference in their success. He has filled up the missing part from their side, if he would've been a part of that 2020-21 squad, City would've had a better chance of winning the Champions League that season. City have a complete squad with players at every position, every position has a talented player on the field and off the field.
All this will be put to test against one man who has a 100% record in the cup finals. Simone Inzaghi has achieved greater things as well, he helped Lazio win one of the two Serie A titles in club's history. He is the younger brother of prolific goal scorer, Filippo, who won the World Cup with Italy and two Champions League at Milan.
Seven years into his management career, he has carved out his own brand, these days he is known as the "Re di Coppe" - "King of the Cups". At Lazio, he lifted the Coppa Italia once and the SuperCoppa Italiana twice. After Antonio Conte left the club in 2021, Inzaghi has done some exceptional work at the Italian club. Since his joining, he has won both the editions of those competitions for Inter, now he has helped his team into a Champions League final.
Inter know they are underdogs against City, “the best team in the world”, as Inzaghi named them. Yet the King of the Cups has instilled a confidence that any one-off game is winnable. Asked what he feared about Pep Guardiola’s team, Inzaghi scoffed, reminding his audience that “we’re talking about a game of football. So, nothing"
With everything on line for one last game and the biggest game of the season, let's see who comes out as the winner.
