Barcelona are looking to find the replacement for Sergio Busquets

Bayern Munich starlet Joshua Kimmich is reportedly determined to exert pressure on his team in an effort to compel the move away to Catalonia during the transfer period in the summer, which is a favourable move for FC Barcelona.

According to Mundo Deportivo's Fernando Polo and Ferran Martinez, Joshua Kimmich is looking for a change of environment and is keen to sign with the La Liga winners.

As Barcelona gets ready to say farewell to captain Sergio Busquets, they are looking for a midfielder who can defend. Xavi Hernandez's priority target has been Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi, but it will be difficult to sign him.

In order to tackle the central midfield position, Joshua Kimmich was identified as a potential replacement for the Blaugrana. Additionally, Xavi has urged the team to use all of their resources to sign the 28-year-old, whose market value is €80 million.

Although Kimmich has a contract with Bayern Munich through 2025, he is willing to take on another task. He is cognizant of Xavi's fondness for him at Barça and would love the opportunity to play for the La Liga champions.

The Catalan heavyweights will have greater competitive leeway without Lionel Messi, and Xavi urges the team to put all towards signing Kimmich. The German international's desire to move on from Bavaria and his choice for Barcelona as his next club are both known to the Blaugrana.

Additionally, Kimmich is prepared to pursue a transfer to Barça, just like Robert Lewandowski did. And now that the club is mindful of this, they are also prepared to give the acquisition their all while knowing that a player of his calibre won't be cheap.

Although it won't be simple, Kimmich's apparent willingness to exert force on Bayern from his side could give Barcelona a chance to sign their ideal No. 6 in the summer.
