Kylian Mbappe predicts Manchester City will win Champions League final

Premier League champions reached their second UCL final

The PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe believes that Manchester City will defeat Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final on June 10 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

Manchester City are aiming to win their first-ever European championship in order to finish off a remarkable continental trifecta after winning the Premier League and FA Cup.

The Nerazzurri, who have already won the Italian Supercup and Coppa Italia this year, are attempting their own cup treble.

Predictions are being made with the final barely a week away, and Mbappe provided his. The PSG player, who took home both the domestic and Ligue 1 Golden Boot this year, is betting on Pep Guardiola's daring squad to win. On Twitter, he stated (via City Report).

"It's going to be a great game, I’m going to watch it. I think Man City are going to win!"

On their way to the finals, Manchester City defeated some formidable opponents from throughout Europe, including Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals and reigning champions Real Madrid in the top four. Additionally, they had won a group that included Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund.

By allowing only five goals in 12 games, the Sky Blues also have the best defensive reputation in the league this season.

Inter Milan, however, are participating in their first championship final since taking home the trophy in 2010. They too have based their season on a staunch defence that has registered eight clean sheets in 12 contests.

Before defeating Porto, Benfica, and city foes AC Milan in the semifinals, the Nerazzurri advanced from a group that included powerhouses like Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

However, Manchester City have been tipped to win the Champions League, but this time Guardiola won't take any risks, as he did last time against Chelsea in the 2020-21 Champions League final, where he deployed a team without a pivot and lost the game 1-0.
