Each player on the list scored more than 10 goals to meet the criteria

The Premier League has attracted a lot of top players from different nations, and some of them have established a name for themselves. One of the players that takes the headlines in most of the matches is the striker. A striker scores a lot of goals and becomes a popular figure among the crowd.

Scoring is not easy, but some players effortlessly score at a good rate on their day. A few Premier League players have scored consistently in a regular season and have a good minutes-per-goal ratio. We bring you the top five players with the best goal ratio per minute. These players have scored more than ten goals in that season.

5. Harry Kane - Tottenham Hotspur (2016-17): 87 minutes per goal

Harry Kane has been one of the best strikers to ever play in the Premier League. He has scored 213 league goals in just 320 appearances. In the recently concluded 2022-23 season, Kane scored 30 goals in 38 league games. But this was not the season when he had the best ratio per minute.

The 29-year-old scored 29 goals in the 2016-17 season. He only played 30 matches for Tottenham Hotspur this season. Kane averaged just 87 minutes per goal. This meant that he averaged a goal per match that season. Despite being a great goal scorer, Kane has never won a major trophy. He could be eyeing a move in the summer, with Manchester United keeping an eye on the Englishman's situation.

4. Papiss Cisse - Newcastle United (2011-12): 86 minutes per goal

The Senegalese striker is more famous for scoring an exceptional goal against Chelsea. Newcastle United signed him in the winter transfer window of the 2011-12 season from Freiburg. He joined his international teammate Demba Ba and formed a partnership up front for the Magpies.

Papiss Cisse spent three and a half years at Newcastle United and played 117 matches. He added 37 Premier League goals. In the 2011-12 season, Cisse scored 13 goals in 14 games. He was scoring a goal in every 86 minutes spent on the field. Cisse was unable to score at a decent race and left England in 2016.

3. Gareth Bale - Tottenham Hotspur (2020-21): 84 minutes per goal

Gareth Bale is one of the greatest Welsh players. He took the Premier League by storm and then made a dream move to Real Madrid from Spurs. He won five UEFA Champions League titles with Los Blancos. Tottenham Hotspur signed him from Southampton in the 2007-08 season. Bale started to perform on the big stage and ended his Premier League career with 54 goals in 164 appearances. He played in two different spells in the English top division.

Bale scored 21 goals in the 2012-13 season, and this was his best season in front of the goal. However, it was his second spell when Bale scored at a prolific rate. The Welshman made a loan move to Spurs in the 2020-21 season. He made 20 appearances, with 10 coming off the bench. Bale went on to score 11 goals at a rate of 84 minutes per goal.

2. Erling Haaland - Manchester City (2022-23): 77 minutes per goal

Manchester United's legend and former manager has the best goals-per-minute ratio in the division. He was the hero in the 1998-99 treble-winning season and also holds one individual record from that particular season.
