PSG set Kylian Mbappe ‘price tag’ as Real Madrid interest intensifies

The French champions are set to sell their ace player

PSG have set a €250m plus €50m in add-ons asking price for Kylian Mbappe, and Real Madrid are prepared to pay in the region of €200m plus €20m in bonuses.

Mbappé's mother and agency have been in contact with Real Madrid for a number of months and are currently attempting to reach an agreement with the Emir of Qatar.

The 2018 World Cup-winning ace stated his conditions for remaining at the Parisian club yesterday, engaging in hardball with his bosses in the process. It follows that Lamari has been trying to work out her son's exit from the Parisian club.

Before heading to Real Madrid, it appears likely that he will complete the remainder of his contract and earn the stipulated £130 million. Hakimi, his PSG teammate and close friend, has been mentioned as a possible target.

His mother has played a key role in those discussions, and it is no secret that she has been wanting to add an additional individual to her roster of clients.

PSG Community's details indicate that the forward's sale will initially be valued at €200 million ($217 million), with an additional €50 million ($55 million) to be paid in bonuses based on how many games the 24-year-old serves for Los Blancos and whether or not Mbappe wins the Ballon d'Or, the sport's highest individual honour given to the world's best player.

If the information in the article is true and the transaction proceeds, Real Madrid will effectively break the previous world transfer record set by PSG in 2017 when it exercised Neymar's €222 million ($243 million) FC Barcelona release clause.

Mbappe joined the 2022-23 Ligue 1 champions on loan from Monaco that summer, and a year later, he became the most costly young player in the world after signing a long-term deal costing a reported €145 million ($159 million) plus €35 million ($38.3 million) in add-ons.
