Real Madrid interested in signing Dortmund starlet Karim Adeyemi

Real Madrid are anticipating a successful summer. Former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham has already signed for them for well over €100 million, and now the Los Blancos are considering signing Karim Adeyemi.

The current LaLiga winners are considering recruiting the German attacker from Borussia Dortmund, who is valued at €35 million on the open market.

Karim Adeyemi was a young prodigy who attended numerous German institutions. The 21-year-old spent a few years playing youth football for Bayern Munich. However, he became well-known once he joined Red Bull Salzburg in July 2018.

And after a few strong performances for the Austrian powerhouses, Adeyemi attracted a number of prestigious teams.

By signing last summer, the German international made his way back to his country. However, the youngster has not been able to establish himself at Signal Iduna Park.

Adeyemi has only contributed to three goals and one assist in 21 games for Dortmund so far. Real Madrid are interested in him, so that hasn't prevented any potential suitors.

Therefore, Real Madrid will have to search for an alternate in the summer. In 18 months, once he turns 18, Endrick will join the Spanish club at the Bernabeu.

Karim Adeyemi's story so far with Dortmund

For Borussia Dortmund, Adeyemi has usually operated as a broad forward. And if Ancelotti assigns him exactly a position at Real Madrid, he might take the place of Eden Hazard.

The German attacker, though, is a backup to Benzema because he is capable of functioning as a number nine. Real will have to spend large sum to sign the 21-year-old as they have already spent on Bellingham.

Adeyemi's value on the market has stabilised at €35 million, but his deal will expire in the summer with four years remaining.

Dortmund will therefore be reluctant to allow the German international to depart for less than €35 million. It will be intriguing to watch if Real Madrid pursues the young player in the summer, despite this.
